Union Carbide Corporation’s receivable for insurance recoveries related to its asbestos liability was US$84 million at June 30, 2010 and Dec. 31, 2009, according to the Company’s quarterly report filed on Aug. 4, 2010 with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
