ASBESTOS UPDATE: Coiner Facing Prison, Fine for Safety Breaches

Jack R. Coiner, a businessman from Amarillo, Tex., on Dec. 15, 2009, pleaded guilty to a federal charge of negligently releasing asbestos into the air, Amarillo.com reports.

Mr. Coiner faces up to a year in prison and a US$100,000 fine.
