ASBESTOS UPDATE: Allstate Reserves $1.14B for Claims at June 30

The Allstate Corporation’s reserves for asbestos claims were US$1.14 billion at June 30, 2010 and US$1.18 billion at Dec. 31, 2009, according to the Company’s quarterly report filed on Aug. 4, 2010 with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
