ASBESTOS LITIGATION: Allstate Has $1.21B for Claims at March 31

Allstate Corporation’s reserves for asbestos claims were US$1.21 billion at March 31, 2009 and US$1.23 billion at Dec. 31, 2008.

The reserves, net of reinsurance recoverable, were US$688 million at March 31, 2009 and US$704 million at Dec. 31, 2008.
